According to the current REC/KPMG Report on Jobs, overall job vacancies increased at the strongest rate in six years. Higher levels of demand for both permanent and short-term staff were monitored by the survey in July. The strongest rate of expansion was indicated for permanent engineering jobs, as has been the case throughout the past four months. The fastest growth for short-term positions was reported in nursing/medical/care jobs, followed by construction.
